Whether you're shipping sunglasses, cellphone cases or gardening gloves, many products are smaller than you think.

And now there are EVEN more benefits when shipping small goods: "Warenpost national" will become "DHL Kleinpaket" and, to satisfy a frequent request from our customers, the maximum permissible height will be increased from 5 cm to 8 cm - the perfect, convenient solution for frequent shippers to reliably and affordably send goods to their customers.

Formats and weights

  • Minimum dimensions: Length 10.0 cm, width 7.0 cm, height 0.1 cm
  • Maximum dimensions: Length 35.3 cm, width 25.0 cm, height 8.0 cm
  • Maximum weight: 1,000 g

Transit time

Items typically reach recipients two working days after posting (Monday – Saturday).

Delivery

Delivery is always documented - be it for on-site delivery, delivery of notified items to a retail outlet or deposit in a Packstation.

Delivery options

Delivery options such as preferred location, preferred neighbor and item notification can also be added.

You can prepare your DHL Kleinpaket shipments in the Deutsche Post & DHL Business Customer Portal starting at the beginning of January.
